WELCOME TO MY SITE!!
My name is Albert Casarres and I welcome you to my small but humble site. I am not a big company type person, I am just me and am thankful for all the Dj's, Radio Personalities, and Artists I have met along the way in the past 26 something years. It is because of those Radio personalities, whom I can call friends and still be able to call them up and ask for help in getting airplay for these new and upcoming artist that just want to get a chance to be heard and gain a few fans.
I first became introduced to this Tejano music genre when I was 13 years old, the first group I was introduced to was Snowball & Company, they had a female singer by the name of Laura Canales in their group, little did they know that Laura would become to be known as "La Reina" De La Musica Tejana. When Snowball & Company disbanded Laura and fellow musicians formed Felicidad and Laura was the lead vocalist for the group, which was against all odds in this male dominated industry. Laura was the trailblazer that opened the doors for all the females that were to follow in the coming years, to this day many females owe her a dance hall full of thanks for busting those barriers down.
I had the privilege of meeting Laura when I was 13 and from their a beautiful friendship formed for 26 plus years up till her death in 2005. I thank Laura not only for the friendship but for also allowing me to help her in her musical journey and get to help her with her Public Relations where I could, to this day I have helped a few artists and upcoming females such as Laura Linda, Kristie Villarreal, Natajja Gomez and Grupo Aldaco to name a few.
